Hi.  My name is Eileen Kronmiller.  My husband Rick and I moved here from Pennsylvania 17 years ago.

Dogs are my life and always have been.  I have been grooming dogs for 33 years.  My training was received in Pennsylvania.  I was head dog groomer for 6 years for one of the largest Grooming Shops in the area.  We did an average of 40 dogs a day.  My job also included training in apprentice groomers.  I left the shop to open my own grooming shop which I had up until moving to MN.

I did grooming in my house prior to opening my Grooming Shop in Tower in July 2004.  I love working with dogs.  My approach is very gentle....No use of tranquilizers or any medication of any kind.  Restraints are only used when absolutely necessary which is not often.  Your dog will be styled the way you want as long as the dogs coat is in good condition.  Included in your dogs grooming experience is style, clip nails, clean ears and bathe.  Anal glands are expressed on request.  Bows will be used in your pets hair on request.   Cologne is used, however if you don't want it on your pet, please let me know.

My prices are very reasonable.  There is a base charge for all dogs of $10.00.  Small dogs $24.00-$26.00 (Mini Schnauzers, Mini Poodles, etc.)  Medium dogs are $27.00 - $29.00 (Brittany's, Springers, etc.)  Large dogs are $30.00 - $35.00 (Std. Poodles, Golden Retrievers, etc.)  Giant dogs are $40.00 - $60.00 (Newfoundland's, St. Bernard's, Irish Wolfhounds, etc.)
It is hard to put a certain size dog or breed into one price range since there is a variation in thickness and condition of coat.  I try to be as fair as I can possibly be.  I do charge $5.00 to $15.00 extra for badly matted pets.  Short haired dogs that just need a bath and nail clip vary from $12.00 to $20.00 depending on size.  There is no extra charge for difficult dogs.  I try to teach them to be comfortable with their grooming experience.

I have been a member of the National Dog Groomers Association since 1974.  Also a member of Minnesota Professional Pet Groomers Association and the Better Business Bureau.

You can never stop learning so I keep up to date with books and videos.

My husband and I live on 280 acres and own seven dogs.  Three of them have come out of rescue programs.  We also have 2 horses, a duck, chickens and an African Grey Parrot which I take to my shop during warmer weather.  I am a total animal enthusiast.

I would love to have the privilege of grooming your pet.

Thank You

Eileen Kronmiller
