I thought that I should tell you a little about myself so here is a quick note!
Hello! My name is Lisa Fabish. I have owned and operated Black Wolf Kennels, LLC since November, 2002
with my husband Mark ( who is a health/phy-ed teacher and football coach) and my three children.
I was employed as a Head Veterinary Technician for eight years and my family and I decided to open our
boarding facility due to the demand for quality kenneling. Our kennel facility is newly expanded based on the
needs of our clientele and extremely clean and comfortable. We have been very busy ever since we opened.
My family and I spend most of our days playing and pampering our client's pets. The smile on the owners face
is most rewarding to us!
Since we have opened our facility, we have become a member of ,
ABKA (American Boarding Kennel Association), APDT (Association of Pet Dog Trainers) and I have taken
courses through FEMA (Emergency Management Institute) to help animals in disastrous situations.
We are also members of ASPCA (The American Society of Prevention of Cruelty to Animals)
Through ABKA, I have taken a course to be a CPCT (Certified Pet Care Technician).
In April, 2006 I graduated from the Animal Behavior College with Honors as an Animal Behavior Certified
Professional Dog Trainer (ABCPDT) which I am also a mentor trainer through the college. I love to help my
clients with all their behavioral problems and questions and personally train their pet at our facility. I am a
Certified Canine Good Citizen Evaluator through the American Kennel Club which I train and test our companions
to be reliable and obedient in our community. I also have a degree as a Certified Veterinarian Assistant (CVA).
I strongly believe a person can never have enough knowledge in caring for our companion animals.
I will be attending the Animal Behavior Institute for Dog Physcology and Enrichment.
My family and I own 15 of our own dogs. Six of them are my Newfoundland breeding program.
I have the biggest compassion for the Animal Kingdom. I support our local Range Regional Rescue where I will personally
and voluntarily train and assess the pet to become more adoptable and to avoid euthanasia.
My experience as a Veterinarian Technician has allowed us to take care and board a wide variety of pets from geriatric to diabetic. I have always strongly agreed with socialization and do not know ANY dogs that enjoy being "kenneled". Dogs are allowed to play, monitored, all day if that is what they want to do besides to eat and rest.
I am also aware that some pets only want my attention. I am adaptable to all pet personalities and situations.
My joy is to know my clients and their pets are very happy when they leave our kennel and always come back.
Our business has always been very personable.
I would love to meet your pet and spend quality, one-on-one time with him/her at our facility! I want to do all I can for you and your pet while you are away!
I am here to answer any questions or concerns.
Thank you,
Lisa Fabish
